It’s hard to believe that we hadn’t met sooner, because throughout our whole lives, we had been hovering just outside each other’s orbit. From attending neighboring high schools, to Zach taking an acting class with Alysse’s best friend, to attending the same Barnes and Noble midnight release party for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, to briefly living in SoCal at the same time, to having offices in the same building complex in Santa Clara, to Zach and Alysse’s dad having the same baseball coach, to living 10 minutes down the road from each other for 3 years before meeting. All along there was an invisible string tying us together. 

Over the last few years, that invisible string unveiled itself and led to us deciding to spend the rest of our lives together. Zach proposed at Garrapata Beach in Big Sur in December 2025, and we’ll say “I do” in September 2026 in the heart of wine country. We can’t wait to celebrate with you there!
